Pop vocals

About the program: Pop Vocals provides students with the opportunity to explore different genres of music and develop their vocal skills within the comfort of a small group. We sing a variety of styles including pop, rock and Broadway. Students will learn to sing with confidence, to project their voice and to harmonize with other vocalists. The 11 week session will end with a performance for friends and family. We will work on songs together as a group and anyone who wants to sing a solo at the concert will be welcome to do so as well! 

  • When: Sept 22nd to Dec 8th
  • Time: Tuesdays at 4:30-5:30pm
  • Who: Open to students in Grades 6 to 8.
  • Registration: Cost is $130 for the 11-week session. We sing pop, rock, Broadway and more!

FALL COMMUNITY SING (Short Session)

This program is non-performance oriented, fun and accessible to all levels.

Songs draw from a variety of folk traditions, and include rounds, spirituals, lullabies, ballads, protest songs and more, all with a strong focus on community connection. (Plus there are snacks…)
If you’ve been wanting to sing, but not sure where to start, or maybe you’ve seen this program posted before but aren’t sure if it’s for you, this short session is a great opportunity to test the waters!

While this is a course geared for adults, children may accompany parents if childcare is an issue.

Music for Young Children®

Sunrise® is a playful group music class designed for ages 2.5 to 4, where children and their caregivers sing, dance, and explore the foundations of music together. This joyful 10-week program introduces pattern recognition, high and low sounds, steady beat and rhythm, and a variety of musical tones through real instruments, movement, and songs to build a solid musical foundation that lasts a lifetime..

Classes run Thursday mornings from 9:15–10:00 am and are taught by our certified MYC® teacher, Holly Sundy. Each session builds on the last, creating a full-year program with three progressive 10-week blocks.

Calling all preschoolers and their grown-ups!

  • Registration Cost: $225 per student (Includes bag, book, finger puppet, and rhythm instrument)
  • Registration Deadline: Thursday, September 25
  • Next Session: 10-week block begins this fall
  • Taught by: our certified Music for Young Children teacher, Holly Sundy.
  • Block 1 will be October 1st – December 10th.
  • Block 2 will be January 7th  – March 25th
  • Block 3 will be April 8th – June 10th.
