Join us for FOUR exciting weeks of musical theatre where creativity takes centre stage! In this immersive summer workshop, students will develop their performance skills through vocal technique training, dance instruction, and engaging acting exercises. Working together, they will help create an original musical by brainstorming ideas, crafting a script, and bringing characters to life. Campers will explore storytelling, stagecraft, and ensemble collaboration while learning how to express themselves confidently on stage. Whether they’re singing a solo, choreographing a dance break, or blocking a scene, every student will have the opportunity to shine. The week culminates in TWO final performances for family and friends, showcasing their hard work and creativity in a of a one-of-a-kind musical production! Please see below for themes and dates.

Registration information:

• Camps run for 5 days, Monday to Friday, from 8:30-4:30 on the dates listed at Muskoka Music Centre
• Limited number of 8 children per workshop
• Cost is $320 (4 – 7 years) – $350 (7 – 12 years), which includes costumes, supplies and the final performances
• Final performances will be at 3 pm and 7 pm on the Friday of the workshop, campers must be picked up for a dinner break between shows.
• Campers must provide an all black outfit (Long pants, T-shirt or long-sleeved, and plain black shoes)

Children’s Choir

Come and learn the joys of group singing in Muskoka Music Centre’s Jr. Choir! Kids ages 7-12 participate in a 10-week choir class with rhythm and melody games galore. Culminating in a recital for friends and family, we work together to pick songs YOU want to sing. With solo singing opportunities for any participant, the Jr. Choir is a perfect mix of group music-making and support for your big moment.

Dates and times: Mondays 4:30-5:20

Fall Session: September 16th – November 25th 2025
With December 2nd as a possible make-up date.
Fall session cost: $135 for 10 weeks, no Choir on Thanksgiving.

Winter session 10 weeks: January 5th – March 23rd 2026
With March 30th as a possible make-up date.
Winter session cost: $135 for 10 Weeks, No Choir on Family Day or March break

Music for Young Children®

Sunrise® is a playful group music class designed for ages 2.5 to 4, where children and their caregivers sing, dance, and explore the foundations of music together. This joyful 10-week program introduces pattern recognition, high and low sounds, steady beat and rhythm, and a variety of musical tones through real instruments, movement, and songs to build a solid musical foundation that lasts a lifetime..

Classes run Thursday mornings from 9:15–10:00 am and are taught by our certified MYC® teacher, Holly Sundy. Each session builds on the last, creating a full-year program with three progressive 10-week blocks.
